JSRF Speedrun Categories
JSRF has several categories of gameplay outside of any% to let players choose the type of objectives they would like to complete in a run. Additionally, some non-leaderboard categories change how JSRF is played significantly, creating new experiences and skills required.
Any% - Complete the game as fast as possible.
Souls% - Complete the game while picking up all 125 souls.
100% - Complete the game while doing everything. This includes all souls, covering all graffiti including Golden Rhino/Zero Beat, and all characters unlocked including the post-game characters.
PJ% - Complete the game up to defeating Poison Jam at Bottom Point. Good starting category.
Default Souls - Complete the game while picking up all 40 default souls in the game (the ones already on the map)
100% No Post Game (NPG) - Complete the game while collecting all souls, covering all graffiti including Golden Rhino/Zero Beat, and unlocking all the main story characters. This is everything that can be done before the credits.
Any% Glitchless - Complete the game as fast as possible without using glitches. A list of glitches is found on this pastebin or on the Rules button on speedrun.com.
Damageless - Complete the game as fast as possible while never taking damage. Very difficult.
Individual Levels (Test Runs) - Complete single level challenges as fast as possible.
Combo% - Complete the game with only Combo after chapter 1 (once unlocked).
Randomizer - Complete the game using the JSRF randomizer, created by Fusecv. Used often for races.
Bingo - Uses a bingo board and the bingo save file in the quicksave mod. Can be raced against other players or solo to make a blackout.
